VIVACE® Fractional Micro Needle RF

Vivace® Microneedle RF works by combining two effective skin rejuvenation techniques: microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy.

  1. Microneedling: The procedure begins with the application of a numbing cream to the treatment area to ensure comfort. Then, a handheld device with small, sterile needles is passed over the skin’s surface. These needles create controlled micro-injuries or tiny punctures in the skin. These micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural healing process, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential proteins for maintaining skin firmness, elasticity, and overall health.
  2. Radiofrequency (RF) Energy: In addition to microneedling, Vivace® delivers RF energy deep into the skin through the same micro-injuries the needles create. This RF energy heats the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating further collagen production and tightening existing collagen fibers. The combination of microneedling and RF energy enhances the effectiveness of the treatment, as the controlled delivery of both techniques targets multiple layers of the skin for comprehensive rejuvenation.
  3. Red light:  A specific wavelength of light that promotes collagen production, adding to the effects of microneedling and RF energy.

Overall, Vivace® Microneedle RF works by promoting collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture, reducing wrinkles and fine lines, tightening the skin, and addressing various skin concerns such as acne scars and uneven tone. The controlled nature of the treatment helps minimize downtime and discomfort while maximizing results, making it a popular option for skin rejuvenation.

Typically, a series of 3 treatments every 4 weeks is required for optimal results. Numbing cream is applied to the area of treatment and left on for about 45 minutes. The procedure takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
